About Rayat Bahra University, Mohali

Rayat Bahra University was established in 2014 under the Rayat Bahra University Act by the Rayat Bahra Group in Mohali, Punjab. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has emerged as a multidisciplinary institution committed to academic excellence, innovation, and industry-oriented education. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, diploma, and professional programmes across diverse disciplines including Engineering, Law, Management, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Agriculture, Media Studies, Hotel Management, Health Sciences, Education, Computer Applications, and Social Sciences. Spread across a modern campus near Chandigarh, Rayat Bahra University provides advanced infrastructure, research-driven learning, innovation centres, laboratories, libraries, and industry-integrated academic exposure. About University School of Law

The University School of Law, Rayat Bahra University, Mohali, has a distinguished legacy of legal education spanning over two decades. The institution was established in the year 2005 as Rayat & Bahra College of Law, affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala (Punjab). Since its inception, the College has remained committed to imparting quality legal education with a strong foundation in academic excellence and professional ethics. Initially, it offered the B.A. LL.B. and LL.B. programmes. In 2015, a significant milestone was achieved when the Rayat Group of Institutions was granted the status of a State Private University, thereby establishing Rayat Bahra University. Consequent upon the conferment of University status, Rayat & Bahra College of Law was re-designated as the University School of Law in 2015. Over the years, the School has consistently expanded its academic offerings to meet the evolving demands of the legal profession. Presently, it offers B.A. LL.B., B.Com. LL.B., B.B.A. LL.B. (incorporated in the year 2025), LL.B., LL.M., and Ph.D. in Law, along with specialized Certificate Courses in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), and Human Rights (H.R.) and Certificate Course in Legal Literacy. The University School of Law presently has a total student strength of 1312 across all courses, reflecting its growing reputation and trust among aspiring legal professionals. With a strong emphasis on mooting, legal aid, research, advocacy skills, and community engagement, the School strives to nurture competent, ethical, and socially responsible legal professionals equipped to address contemporary legal challenges at national and international levels.



About India International Arbitration Centre, New Delhi

The India International Arbitration Centre (IIAC) has been established by the India International Arbitration Centre Act, a statute promulgated by the Parliament of India. The purpose of this enactment is to create an independent and autonomous regime for institutional arbitration. IIAC has been declared as an institution of national importance. The dispute resolution processes that are in place have a huge impact on the Indian economy and the global perception on doing business in India. To this end, the IIAC aims to inspire confidence amongst parties (both domestic and international) by providing a neutral dispute resolution platform for resolution of commercial disputes through a seamless arbitral process.

About the International Conference

The International Conference on “Arbitration, Technology, and Global Justice” seeks to establish a rigorous and globally engaged academic forum dedicated to examining contemporary developments in international arbitration, technology-driven dispute resolution, and emerging frameworks of global justice. Organised by the University School of Law, Rayat Bahra University, the conference aims to convene leading scholars, arbitrators, judges, legal practitioners, policymakers, researchers, industry experts, and students from diverse jurisdictions and disciplinary backgrounds. The conference is designed to encourage critical and interdisciplinary dialogue on the transformative impact of technological innovation upon arbitration and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. Rapid advancements in artificial intelligence, online dispute resolution, cybersecurity, digital commerce, and data governance are reshaping both the procedural and institutional dimensions of arbitration at the domestic and international levels. Against this backdrop, the conference seeks to analyse the legal, ethical, and regulatory implications of these developments while exploring broader questions relating to accessibility, accountability, transparency, and procedural justice in transnational dispute resolution. The conference further aspires to strengthen comparative and international scholarship by facilitating meaningful engagement between academia, legal institutions, and industry stakeholders. Through keynote lectures, panel discussions, technical sessions, and research presentations, the event aims to promote scholarly collaboration, policy-oriented discourse, and innovative perspectives on the future of arbitration and global legal governance.
